We reviewed the trials we hold for ageing. The results for nicotinamide mononucleotide and astaxanthin were not strong enough to credit. NMN does raise NAD-related markers in your blood, but that's a lab number, not a health benefit. And it doesn't even reliably get where it's supposed to: in the key study blood NAD went up while muscle NAD didn't move. A rising NAD level is not evidence you're healthier or ageing slower. Astaxanthin can move some oxidative-stress markers, but an antioxidant blood-marker change is not the same as more energy, longevity, immunity or visible health. Treat broad 'antioxidant' claims as mechanism-level unless a real outcome is shown.
